Now that Kyle's officially a first grader, my real work begins. Both boys are home with me full-time now. The "official" home/boat schooling will begin after Labor Day, but they need to start getting used to me being the teacher now. My plan is that every morning, we'll get up and do a page or two in the workbooks I have. Not too much, but hopefully just enough to keep their little brains sharp..... while I learn how to be a teacher.Monday, July 2, 2007
Kids Are Out of School
Now that Kyle's officially a first grader, my real work begins. Both boys are home with me full-time now. The "official" home/boat schooling will begin after Labor Day, but they need to start getting used to me being the teacher now. My plan is that every morning, we'll get up and do a page or two in the workbooks I have. No worries...if you ever need any encouragement about homeschooling, just let me know. Been there, done that, still doing it...just not on a boat!
